I'm from Europe so I have the same problem that you have in Asia :)

I think that it can be a mobile personal wiki if you want ... I'm excited about Kindle because I read mostly non-fiction (technical) books so I constantly need to check a book while reading another, while this is easy to do at home or at the office it's almost impossible when I'm in  a train, plain etc. 

With Kindle I think this problem is solved, we'll see ...</description>
